Had a problem with my helmet on the electrical connection, the helmet could not be charged anymore. Wrote to Lumos initially whether the connector inside the helmet was replaceable, and while Lumos advised that this is not the case, they offered to send me a completely new helmet, even though I could not provide the receipt (since I had the helmet received as a gift). This alone is already remarkable, whereas once my complaint was formally logged, the execution of the replacement was swift, professional and superbly efficient. Only when I received the new helmet in Spain did I realize that it was shipped directly from Hong Kong. What a service!! Lumos is second to none, not only in terms of product quality & features, but also in terms of customer attention. Truly appreciated in today's world of digitalization, when you are forced to solve your problems yourselve through a chatbot (who never gives you the answers to your questions). Different at Lumos, I communicated with Donovan, who was a real human being, and that was the key to the fast and efficient resolution of the issue. Would have never EVER been able to get such attention through a chatbot.
My advise to you for the future: DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING! YOUR BUSINESS MODEL WORKS!. And I will (and already have) recommend Lumos to all my biking friends! Thank you! Frank

I love most of the products from Lumos I already have 2 helmets the Firefly ....they have a great useful meaning when you ride a bike! Thanks great work!

The company provides a very good description of how they work, what to expect. I find that all the information provided to be just as described. Although a bit on the expensive side it all works seamless. Highly recommend. Wiring for the 4 light charger to become in stock again since it seems the best option to charge 4 lights at once. Awesome customer service.

This is my second Lumos helmet. Sadly , the battery wore off on my first one. Lights are exceptionally bright!

My original turn signal broke. Looks like the new one has a USB C connection and is much better built with the more sensitive intuitive ergonomic push button for the left and right signal

Replaced my original Lumos Ultra after three years having noticed a crack in the body (must look after this one better).
Improved charge point and indicator, I can actually see when this one is charging / charged, something that was very poor on the original. Integrates well with my existing accelerometer / controller. Yet to see how long the battery lasts.

This is a a replacement for a MIPS Lumos helmet that saved my life during a terrible bicycling accident.

The Lumos helmet is a huge leap in cyclist safety. Being lit up like a Christmas tree makes me more visible both during the day and night and the MIPS system really works. Had a collision with a car recently and hit my head on the ground. Only result was a bit of "rash" on my forehead where the helmet twisted, but I was safe!

This helmet lets me feel safe on the road…I set the rear lights on flashing mode & traffic sees me, slows down and usually passes with care…I love the helmet…

Mount works well but has a problem with a narrow seat. Holes match Bontrager bag seat mount so used bag mount instead of Lumos threaded rail for narrow seat.

I wrote a not so nice review of Lumos from an Ebike Ultra Helmet I bought from Amazon during Prime Days. It said it was the last one and I should have known better! Everytime I have bought a last one it turned out to be a broken return, something wrong, missing pieces, etc, etc. It was my one chance to get it on sale so I said let me get it. Sure enough, there was a bunch wrong and I could not believe that a $229 bicycle helmet could have left the factory with this much wrong so it had to have been used and misused and once again Amazon sent it out as new. I called Amazon to exchange it and they said it could only be returned no exchange. I sent Lumos an email but got no response. In due fairness it was over the weekend but I was so mad! I brought it back to Whole Foods for a return and wrote some not so nice reviews. Monday I got a response from Kevin at Lumos. I told him what happened and wanted nothing to do with Lumos. He offered to take care of the situation by offering the same price plus an additional discount and extended warranty. I told him to let me think about it. So, I put my trust in him and I just received it and it is perfect! He even included a Firefly, but now I need to spend more money to buy some more. LOL! Lumos does really care about their customers and products they produce. Their technology is cutting edge. I was an LD and worked for the company that invented the automated moving lights you see at concerts, tv, etc, and this reminds me of that cutting edge lighting technology. I can honestly now say buy Lumos, but buy directly from them.

I have the original kickstarter version of the helmet and love it.

This was a perfect replacement for the remote that came with the helmet, since buttons on the remote have aged and cracked with many many years of use.

I love the rear red lights the are now actually brake lights instead of just a blinking red light. I have had many positive comments for the turn signals, especially the brightness. Ieven had them on the lowest dim level.
So far my only minor complaint is, I do not think the charge lasts as long as advertised. I still give them a 5 star rating. There is nothing like them.

Best lights I’ve ever used and I have used many.The only small gripe I have would be longer battery life but still the best hands down!

I now have two Fireflies on the back of my E-Bike to attract attention and indicate turns. The Fireflies are very visible in the daytime and almost overwhelming at night.

A high-quality product that doesn't disappoint. You can customize the lights to your liking. You can use it for bicycle and personal use while walking or running for visibility. These are extremely very bright lights during nighttime riding. I highly recommend it!

My Lumos helmet is great. Having lights makes sure that you are seen after dark.
There customer service is commendable.

Thanks for the upgrade. The extended battery life will change the length of my ride. The new improved strengthened cable looks like it will last longer.

I got this as a belated Father's Day gift. Lumos customer service is unbeatable. The shipping is quick. This helmet was recommended to me by a client who's had for years. Since my dad bikes, I decided to get one for him. It not a cheap helmet, but it's worth the price. The helmet is sturdy, light and great fit. Dad really likes it very much.

Love my Lumos! It is well built, fits perfect on my head and I really do feel a lot safer. Yes, it is a little heavier than my last helmet, but that gets outweighed by all the safety features the helmet has to offer. Looking forward to all my rides with it.
